IPE Marks are important

The effect of IPE marks has been more than expected on ranks of many students. So for current second year students give a lot of attention to IPE, because IPE score can alter your ranks greatly. Looking at the positives of the new system, the extent to which some students get very good ranks by fluke is reduced, Like I know a guy who has about 60% in optionals in Intermediate and attempted EAMCET by putting only guessess, this guy ended up scoring 96, which would have been a cool below 5,000 rank had 25% inter marks were not added, he ended up getting a rank of 25,000.
Other fortunate and unfortunate guys of eamcet 2009 are a couple of people listed on Eamcet website

Guesing what your Rank could be?

I have made a detailed analysis and have taken a lot of data samples to find approximate ranks of the candidates( For Geeks I used Normal Gaussian Distribution to find out). I also assumed the guys scoring high in EAMCET would have scored high in IPE too, and that would be very cool assumption because the effect of IPE marks on the gross total is seemingly less.. any way here is a reference for you till June 22nd

Eamcet Marks released

Eamcet marks have been released yesterday at the JNTU hyderabad campus on time as announced before amidst protest by ABVP. ABVP created quite a scene on stage, they protested against the recurring mistakes in the question paper and this the fourth consequitive year they have taken up this kind of protest. It looked bad on stage and also caused delay in the release of results, but they have got a point.
coming to eamcet, it was way tougher than previous year papers so take my word do not get disappointed, I'm going to come up with an analysis to predict the approximate ranks of students.
As of now the analysis shows that a student who would have scored about 100 in the last years Eamcet paper would score almost 15 marks lesser this time.
So my word for all who are disappointed with their performance just add 15 marks to your score and this will be your score if the paper was of ideal difficulty. Ofcourse this does not apply for the toppers, because they are the ones least effected by the paper being difficult. What Iam talking about is students who have scored between 60-100. for students above 100 till 130 can add about 10 marks, and for guys above 130 can add 3-5 marks.
